Friday, May 19th, we’re turning the lights down and crowding in for a night of heavy jams in Serva Pool. We know you need a break from freak-out-swing-your-arms-around-screamy-throat-killer heavy, so we’re giving you some heads-down-sway-back-and-forth-feel-the-weight heavy. Crescent Ridge (Massachusetts, Forever Never Ends Records – Fentanyl, Video Prick + more) are coming to Reno for the first time, bringing a few walls of fuzz held up by some proper, reach-into-your-chest riffs + wails. Faint Shape, round-the-corner neighborhood nerds, will break your heart, like they always do, with a little jangle and a lot of croon. BenderWorld, new kids on the block, are playing HP for the first time (!), and it’s all like some soft, rhythmic dream…..close your eyes and hold your breath with us on Friday – we’re taking a sweet, grungy plunge in the Pool!
