First Time Project

It’s only rock n roll, but I like it.

PLEASE JOIN THE HOLLAND PROJECT ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH FOR A VERY SPECIAL LAUNCH OF A VERY SPECIAL PROJECT.

Earlier this year, we interviewed a few dozen community members about their first time musical experience. That first concert they attended, the first album they bought, the first rock star crush they had. We’ve compiled these stories into an ongoing storytelling project called THE FIRST TIME PROJECT. Please join us as we celebrate the launch of the first crop of storytellers featuring some amazing members of our community AND raise money for the Holland Project’s Grounded for Life Campaign – an effort to secure Holland’s home at 140 Vesta Street for teens and young adults for the next generation, and the generation after that.

We want there to always be a place for all-ages arts, music, and culture in our community, and with your help, we can make that happen.

Come laugh with us as we travel back in time to those formative years when music was EVERYTHING.  Hors d’oeuvres and drinks, live music, friends and fun. We hope you’ll join us!
