Hey everyone. This is probably the busiest week of my life, and due to computer problems, this is going to be a brief post. Brief, but not lacking in lots of visual information to look at and digest. This week, I bring you some video art from two different artists.
The first one is PES. This website is full of the so-called “twisted films of PES.” It is all stop-motion animation and quite incrediblly detailed. Be sure to check out Kaboom!
The other artist, Aaron Valdez, is from Texas originally, but currently living here in Iowa City. He does all kinds of videos remixed from found footage. Very smart and entertaining! A lot of his stuff focuses on sound. You can find his stuff here. Be sure to watch “Back of the Mike”–my personal favorite.
