The Holland Project Gallery (located at 140 Vesta Street, Reno, NV 89502) is a versatile space that can feature large exhibitions or smaller installations. During any month we have 1-3 exhibits on display with gallery hours of Wed.-Fri. 12-6PM or by appointment (call 775-234-8343 or email

The Holland Project Gallery seeks to create the go-to art space in Reno to see young, contemporary artists and their influences both regionally and nationally.

The mission of The Holland Project Gallery is to:

– facilitate exhibitions and events showcasing young, emerging and professional artists
– provide real world experience in gallery practices for young and emerging artists
– present curated and aesthetically considered exhibitions
– develop art opportunities for youth in the region
– create community collaborations through art
– offer tools and workshops for creative experimentation and development

We are always open to ideas, submissions and discussions regarding visual art shows and potential exhibitions, as well as small-scale performances within the gallery space. If you are interested in proposing an exhibition for one of the HP Galleries READ MORE HERE.

Each school year we host two Young Blood showcases. This is a pop-up exhibition where artists under-21 can take over the gallery to feature and sell their artwork. No constraints. No screening process. The next Young Blood will be held October 10-13, 2023.

The gallery is steered by a committee of people who have had experience both as artists and curators –  a group devoted to displaying the exciting talent that is inherent in youth. The Gallery Committee meets once a month to provide community input, develop new ideas and review submission proposals. Committee members serve at-will and volunteer a set amount of hours monthly.

The Gallery Intern, or Gallery Associate, is an individual under 25 who is interested in visual art and aesthetics, gallery operations, curation and promotion. The main focus of the position is the off-site galleries, including the HP Satellite Gallery and Sizzle Pie Gallery, in which the intern is given the reins to curate, coordinate, promote, install and host exhibitions. We seek out highly motivated and reliable individuals who can commit to a 6 month, 10 hours/week position that is filled through a simple application process. The next Gallery Associate begins Fall 2023.

The Gallery Crew is a maintenance volunteer position that offers experience working in a gallery setting. The Crew assists once or twice a month (typically on weekends) with de-installing and installing exhibitions in the main gallery space.
