Workshops, Workshop, and More Workshops!

Workshops, Workshop, and More Workshops!

Holland Project’s Fall/Winter workshop series begins this Wednesday with Ty Fighter leading d.i.y Sound System Technology.
Join us at the Studio on 4th for our Halloween Covers Show on October 29th at 7PM and Ty will walk you through the steps of running our Holland PA system. The second session for this workshop will be held on November 7th during our local music showcase. Those who attend this two-part series will have the chance to run our PA system at future Holland events!

Meet Ty: Ty Williams is the guy behind the sound at almost every Holland event. He has been part of the Reno music scene since the mid-1990’s, playing his first show at the ripe age of 14 in Pete’s Ryland House. Ty worked and volunteered at Resurrection Records back in the day, has played with local favorites such as Crushstory, toured with Fall Silent throughout Japan and Europe, and later joined bands such as Pink Black, Disconnect, and the Young Lions. Currently Ty sings, plays guitar, and writes music for My Flag Is On Fire. He also works at the Pneumatic Diner, and remains one of Holland Project’s most dedicated volunteers.

Next up, Poster Design and Promo with Clint Neuerburg on Saturday, November 1st from 2-4pm. Learn basic design skills from the master.

Meet Clint: Clint Neuerburg is the product of working class parents and 1990’s pop culture. He has been know to perform “music” in the public sphere, and has helped his friends do the same. Clinton has also been active in helping his community have access to healthy food that grows in the dirt. From time to time Clinton rides a bike, and has been known to dabble in the bearded arts.
