Yes I’m dropping names

so this week I start my long awaited blog, the only problem is i can’t think what I’m gonna write about. So I’m gonna take a que from clint and write about a show I went to recently. Last week I treked to San Francisco to go see Beirut. For those who don’t know Beirut is a band that has a great east european sound, heavy on the horn. They were playing at the Herbst theater and I gotta say they were amazing. Even though I started to come down with strep throat that day and my throat was feeling pretty bad. The horn melodies coupled with some of the sweet ukulele playing made me forget all about my pain. It was upbeat, hoppy, and french I couldn’t help to wait. And since the crowd and an insatiable taste for Beirut they played two encores with six great songs. The highlight of the night for me would have to be when they played a french song. I also loved it when the singer would talk to the audience, at one point only speaking french. It was truly a night to remember and without the strep it would probably been even greater.
