Don’t want to purchase expensive or extra equipment to complete a creative project? We got you! The Holland Project’s Workshop Lab has resources that could help you finish a dream project, make merch, promote an event, etc without making that large purchase. The following is a rate sheet for some of the services/tools we currently offer. This list is a work in progress as we figure out how to offer all our resources, so if you don’t see what you’re looking for, please email us at info@hollandreno.org to ask. We might have it! copier/printer
The Holland Project workshop lab has a full-size printer/copier that can print 8.5×11 and 11×17 in full color and black and white. You can send files to be printed in advance or come to the lab in person to print/copy yourself. For in-person printing, your final cost is calculated at the end of your session using the machine’s internal counter, and users must schedule a time to get a demo with staff before use. For advance printing, there is a $2.00 setup fee.
We also maintain a commercial paper cutter, which can cut up to 50 sheets of standard copy paper at once. Please note: Holland staff must operate the commercial cutter for you. We also have standard paper cutters, which you may use for free with your printing/copying purchase in person.

EXAMPLE: 100 Handbills for a gig! Sized to print four handbills on 8.5×11:
- 25 sheets = $12.50 ($0.50/ea)
- Cut once in half vertically = $0.50
- Cut once in half horizontally = $0.50
- Setup Fee = $2.00
- Total for 100 handbills = $15.50
BUTTON MACHINE
Holland Project has two heavy-duty button makers for 1” pinbacks and 2.25” buttons. You can hire us to make your buttons or you may schedule time to come in and use the button machine yourself. We can provide the appropriate design template for the buttons and have a printer on site to print your designs. We’re also happy to set up your button template for a small fee if needed! Not all button supplies are compatible with our machines; therefore, we require everyone to use our in-house supplies.

vinyl plotter
Holland Project uses a Titan 2 vinyl plotter machine to make vinyl stickers both small and large, and that can adhere to many smooth surfaces. Our machine can accept rolls up to 24” wide (and unlimited inches long). In order to rent time using the vinyl machine, an individual will first have to take a one-on-one crash course on how to use the software, set up the machine, and cut using the Titan 2. Staff may also demo the heat press machine, which can press special heat press vinyl onto many fabrics and materials. This course is $25 per person and is only required one time. We will provide practice vinyl for the one-on-one session. After that, an individual may schedule to use the vinyl plotter and other tools for $5/hour and must bring their own vinyl to cut.
Please note: vinyl machines can be unpredictable, so you always want to buy/bring extra vinyl for your project. We recommend planning in advance and getting Oracal vinyl online.

Negative & high-resolution scanner
Holland Project uses an Epson V600 scanner for film negatives and high-resolution scans of flat materials for flyers, graphic design, etc. To use the scanner, individuals may schedule a one-on-one demo with our staff (required only once), then rent time using the scanner for $5/hour. Bring your own laptop with the Epson software loaded, or use one of our laptops for a small fee. Everyone using the scanner should bring a USB or hard drive.
