Disintegrate/Recreate
A “Work in Progress” Exhibition
February 14 – March 3, 2023

Using “deconstruct and reconstruct” as a theme and jumping-off point, teens participating in this year’s WIP program had the opportunity to work with local artists and explore a range of art-making processes, including polaroid emulsion transfers with Kirsten Mashinter, up-cycled wearables/sustainable fashion with Isabela Reyes-Klein,  break and build a mosaic sculpture with Jenny Snaza, and stop motion animation with M Jiang. Their culminating exhibition showcases artworks created utilizing these art processes and the skills shared by each visiting artist.
