Part of the 2024 Curator Series and Of the Sol Curatorial Residency

We are a collective of Black and Brown artists from Reno, NV, mobilizing to cultivate an intersectional safe space for Black, Indigenous, and Artists of Color. As Black and Brown artists, we are committed to nurturing our autonomy outside the framework of traditional, predominantly white-serving institutions. We use art as a medium for social justice, fostering representation and belonging as we demand accessibility, equity, and inclusivity.

Our namesake exhibition is an open-call gallery, inviting Black, Indigenous, and Artists of Color of all ages and mediums to showcase artwork that speaks to their roots, ancestral wisdom, and power. Of the Sol is an exhibition about reclamation, a practice in belonging and fostering a community that will include the work of 57 local artists, including:
