The reason given, a wild oxymoron if there ever was one “because the score is too song based.†Huh?!? Radiohead’s Johnny Greenwood, who was also expected to have a soundtrack in Oscar contention (for “There Will Be Bloodâ€), was also deemed ineligible.”
Having just seen There Will Be Blood, this makes me laugh–in that annoyed sort of way.
