Natural Dyes in the Garden
The Holland Project is excited to partner with our friends at FARMily to bring you this rad natural dye workshop lead by local artist Ivy Guild! Participants will explore the basics of natural dyeing while learning about common dye plants in our region. We’ll discuss creative ways to source dye materials and then head into the garden to gather plant materials for use as botanical pigments.
This workshop takes place at Katie’s Community Garden located behind the Bridge Church at 1340 Foster Dr, Reno, NV 89509. Registration is $30 and includes a canvas bag and all the materials you’ll need for the natural dyeing process. Space is limited so be sure to get tickets to secure your spot!
