Alejandra Rubio: The Missing & Murdered Closing Reception

In collaboration with Of the Sol Collective, HP Galleries is proud to present a solo exhibition by local artist Alejandra Rubio, “The Missing & Murdered”. The closing reception is scheduled for October 12, 1-3pm and is free and all ages.

In this series of photographs, Rubio sheds light on the tragic reality of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls. This installation is a visual homage to our ancestors and a poignant reminder of the ongoing crisis that affects our communities today. This work is a call to action. It is a reminder that the fight for justice for missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls is not just a distant history, but an urgent and ongoing struggle.
