Citizen Snips, Evening Spirits, In The Works?

Citizen Snips is an Indie Rock band out of Sacramento, California. They play with a style that blends elements of psychedelic rock, alt rock, and vintage pop with songwriting nods to the likes of Alex Turner, The Beatles, Brian Wilson, and The Strokes.

They go so far as to switch instruments and lead singers onstage to keep each song feeling like a different experience, but still resting comfortably under the umbrella of the Citizen Snips style. The band is comprised of David Hill (Drums), Erik Moody (Bass, Guitar, Vocals), Elliott Goldstein (Keys), and Trevor Ayers (Guitar, Vocals, Keys). The outfit started in 2018 when David felt an itch to be in a band again after a period of early musical retirement and heartbreak. A few members later, craigslist posts, and sound changes later, Trevor and Erik fell into his lap. He then called on his college trained pianist friend Elliott to fill out the lineup.

With more projects and a followup EP on the way working with producers such as Josh Grenko (Japanese Breakfast, Cake) and Tim & Alex (Alex G, Tierra Whack), new merchandise, and a tour, Citizen Snips is hungry to make more music and continuously stretch their music boundaries.
