Canvas Building + Plein-Air Painting w/ Austin Pratt

Stop painting on lousy pre-stretched canvases and come learn how to build and stretch your own with local painter Austin Pratt! In this two-day workshop, we’ll spend Day 1 at Holland Project learning how to properly construct and stretch canvases from scratch and prepare them for painting. On Day 2 – we’ll meet Austin at Crystal Peak Park in Verdi for plein-air painting on the banks of the Truckee.

Participants can sign-up for one or both days of the workshop and registration is $30/day or $50 for both. Carpool options from Holland out to Crystal Peak Park will be available for Day 2 or participants can drive themselves. For questions please contact alisha@hollandreno.org.
