Begin Anywhere: Poetry Workshop

You don’t need to bring anything but yourself to this two-part poetry workshop with Max Stone happening Sat, May 9th and Sat, May 16th from 12-2pm. Designed for those just starting to write, coming back to writing, feeling stuck in their practice, or just looking to re-energize their approach. Fall (back) in love with writing through prompts and exercises that will sharpen your writing tools and help you develop creative routines that work for you.
Max Stone is a writer, poet, and artist from Reno, Nevada. He earned his MFA in poetry and BA in English with a minor in book arts from the University of Nevada, Reno and is the author of two chapbooks: The Bisexual Lighting Makes Everyone Beautiful (Ghost City Press) and Temporary Preparations (Bottlecap Press). Max is a consistent contributor to Reno News & Review, including two cover stories, art news publication Double Scoop, and Southwest Contemporary.
Unfortunately, we are unable to give refunds for workshop registration unless the workshop is canceled, instructors can’t make it, or in the event of an emergency situation. We thank you for your understanding!
