YOUNG BLOOD

Young Blood is a pop-up exhibition showcasing work by local up and coming artists under 21. It’s a great opportunity for young artists to gain some experience exhibiting their artwork in a gallery as well as a chance to see what other young local art makers have been creating. Young Blood happens twice each school year and takes place in the Holland Project Gallery. The fall 2023 Young Blood exhibition will be open to visitors Tuesday, October 10th – Friday, October 13th with gallery hours from 12-6pm. Appointments to visit the exhibition outside of our normal gallery hours are welcome and can be made by emailing alisha@hollandreno.org.
A special Closing Reception and CRYPTID themed art party will be held in partnership with the Washoe County Library System on Friday, Oct. 13th from 5:30-8pm. There’s a $1 donation at the door and in addition to all the wonderful artwork up in the gallery we’ll also have fun themed hands-on activities, music, photo booth, and snacks. Cryptid inspired attire/costumes encouraged!!
