The University of the Waves – Opening Reception

The Holland Project is thrilled to present a solo exhibition by local artist and UNR BFA student, Häsler R Gómez. His installation based exhibition, The University of the Waves, brings to life the realistic idea of uncertainty and the wonder that comes with it. The University of the Waves without a doubt embarks us on a journey that according to Gomez, “we are all on.” Through the ideas of metaphors, language and images, Gomez let’s us know that we are in charge of the steering wheel that guides us through life, and gives us faith even when one is most uncertain.
The exhibition runs from November 10th – November 27th with an Opening Reception on Friday. November 13 from 6-8pm at the Holland Project Gallery on 140 Vesta St. Reno.
