November 6 @ 7:00 PM - 10:30 PM • $10.00 – $12.00
The Mall (St. Louis) is a synth-punk duo with a pile of hardware, synthesizers and cables making aggressive, unpredictable, but emotionally focused dance music. Debuting with Zone at the beginning of 2020, the album’s claustrophobic darkwave resonated with a moment where isolation was suddenly relatable to everyone. Now, in 2022, their new album Time Vehicle Earth confronts the impact a person has as part of the world. The emotions run hotter, the beat is unrelenting, and the intent is clear: The Mall envisions a future without lines between punk scenes and dance clubs, breaking the walls at every opportunity to invite the inevitable chaos.
Nuxx Vomica is the New York City based dark techno project of musician and visual artist Madeline Seely. Taking inspiration from EBM, 90’s techno, and Eurodance, Seely has made Nuxx Vomica into a grimy-yet-dancy addition to the New York scene.
