The Babies, one of our favorite bands in the world, are coming back to Holland on Oct. 2nd! THE BABIES! Playing with them is Alex Bleeker and the Freaks and Royal Noble. A union between Woods and the Vivian Girls, The Babies are garage pop at it’s best! It jangles and rocks! Alex Bleeker and the Freaks is the solo project of Real Estate bassist, you guessed it, Alex Bleeker. Pitchfork says Alex Bleeker and Freaks play “warm, wistful country-tinged rock, somewhere in the neighborhood of the Grateful Dead’s American Beauty or maybe Neil Young’s Old Ways: unfussily arranged, uninterested in wasting a lot of time.” It’s awesome. And to make it a night of perfect rock and roll songwriting Royal Noble is also playing! Wednesday, October 2nd at 8PM $6 advance $8 door.
