Teen Art Night

Our annual takeover of the Nevada Museum of Art, and it’s a good one this year. Inspired by the exhibits currently on display, we have 7 (YES, SEVEN!) rad hands-on stations that include printmaking, silkscreening, shibori (indigo tie-dye), bookmaking (little journals, sketchbooks, & zines), button making, patches and wall hangings, bubble wrap fashion, AND MORE. We’ve also secured some of our favorite artists (Omar Pierce, Denali Gray Lowder, Ashley Westwood, Lisa Kurt, Maisie Allen, Michelle Lassaline) to produce original art take-aways FOR YOU inspired by Dave Eggers animal+text work. SO COOL. If that’s not enough, we also have DJ Tucker Rash, the Gina Rose Waller Band, and ALL THE WAY FROM NEW YORK CITY, the triumphant return of Nick Rattigan and Current Joys (formerly Televisions). Tons more stuff too (a photo booth designed by Austin Pratt), Instagram live feed manned by Reno Instagrammys, gelato from Bibo Freddo, refreshments and MORE. THIS IS THE BEST! DON’T MISS!
