Stirr Lightly are dropping an EP!
The trio of Courtney Mayer, Victoria Almanzan, and Bijou Bell; Stirr lightly are Reno locals, using upbeat surf sensibilities and the intricacies of math rock as a medium for creating their serious and well thought out songs. The lyricism and melodies set a familiar tone of indie-pop, with focus on social and political issues and delving into more lighthearted refrains. We’re very excited to hear what they have up their sleeves. Joining them for the occasion, Fine Motor are indie-rock veterans, taking aesthetic cues from their east coast peers, and using back and forth dual lyricism, massive drum sounds and guitars to make something catchy and gnarly. Opening up the night, Madooji is a solo endeavor, using ethereal synth sounds to make dream-pop tunes that lean more towards modern peers of Cowgirl Clue or Cuco, and she kills it.
