Speedlite Lighting 101

Learn the basics of this lighting technique from professional photographer Ben Rice.  A speedlite is a type of compact camera flash that produces a powerful burst of light to illuminate your subject. With a little know-how,  you can utilize speedlites to create a number of professional lighting situations and really get creative. This demonstration will be done using digital SLR’s, but the concepts will apply to those wishing to work with analog equipment. Bring your own digital SLR if you like!
