Intro to Soldering + Electronics Repair

Soldering is easy! During this fun and super practical hands-on workshop, we’ll learn how to repair a variety of audio and other cables with just a soldering iron and wire cutters. We’ll also do a crash course overview of basic electronics concepts, including schematics, electricity and signal flow, and even attempt to repair a piece of broken gear! Participants are encouraged to bring in one small item that needs work, such as a guitar amp or guitar or anything with a busted power cord (those are a piece of cake to fix!).
Email ilya@hollandreno.org with any questions and to ask if the gear you want to bring is appropriate for this workshop. You can bring your own tools, borrow ours, or buy a basic repair tool kit along with your workshop admission (comes with: soldering iron, solder, and wire cutters).
Unfortunately, we are unable to give refunds for workshop registration unless the workshop is cancelled, instructors can’t make it, or in the event of an emergency situation. We thank you for your understanding! <3
