Slow Hollows are back!
These LA melodic post-punkers killed it last time they rolled through, and we can’t wait to get them back! They combine the sounds of young LA’s bedroom pop with mature instrumentation on and songwriting. Their latest single, “Again”, brings sunny 70’s horns and acoustic guitar into the mix to make their most ambitious sound yet. Touring with them are Aukland, New Zealand dreamy lo-fi outfit P.H.F. (formerly Perfect Hair Forever), who’s sound consists of wobbling washed out synths, grainy compressed vocals, and catchy piano melodies layered over the top. For a local, I don’t think there could be a better fit than Video World. The brainchild of Nick Minor, Video World combines jangley reverbed out guitars, lots and lots of 7th chords, synth melodies and bedroom-pop vocals. Ahh, shoot!
