Marissa Kamenetsky is a multimedia artist currently residing in Truckee California. Desire in all its forms has been the source of Kamenetsky’s work since earning her degree in Fine Arts from the University of California Santa Cruz. Photography and illustration have long been passions of hers, recently combining them to create an ethereal digital style. Perhaps inspired by her years of study in ballet and dance, Kamenetsky favors telling these stories of desire through the female body across all mediums. Whether expressed through her own body or a conglomerate of others, clothed or nude, drawn or photographed, she admires the visceral feeling of expression through the body.
