Rotary Club, Stomach Plus, Plain Oatmeal

You find yourself in a derelict phone booth at a busy downtown intersection. Liquor store to the left, payday loans to the right, and a fast-food spot somewhere in between. You desperately need to make a call, so you lift the receiver, shove in your sweaty change, and dial. Somebody answers – sounds like a band is playing in the basement. Amidst the din of traffic and the occasional yell, you press your ear to the gummy receiver and strain to have a conversation. Problem is: the poorly played rock n’ roll on the other side won’t stop seeping into the line.
