Hate Recorder are back! Local melodic punks, taking socially aware lyrics, and dividing them between their loudest and most furious moments, and into their quieter and more thoughtful. They just put out a split with Negative Sex, and it RIPS. Joining em are Reno’s patron saints of Post-punk, Plastic Caves. After a short break they’re back with the gnarliest guitar riffs, the most punishing rhythm section, enough chorus to go around. Topping it off, Rolling thru from Portland are psych-doom shredders Young Hunter w/ ethereal shoegaze elements and fat fuzzy guitars + San Francisco Anarcho-punk/Post-hardcore shredders Revolution Bummer.
