The Plastic Cherries, Dad Bod, Elleanor Burke
January 17 @ 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM • $10.00
UPDATE 1/17: DAD BOD has to skip their tour stop in Reno due to unexpected illness, The Plastic Cherries and Elleanor Burke will continue on and tickets will be lowered $10.
The Plastic Cherries began as an SLC recording duo. Shelby & Joseph Maddock make songs on old tape machines inspired by glam, soft rock, shoegaze, Elliott Smith, and their dog. Their album Sunshine is now available on cassette via Uphere!
The six dream-rockers of Dad Bod – who have shared the stage with iconic names like Levitation Room, Young The Giant, Grouplove, Loving – have turned heads with the release of their sophomore LP: Pastels. Publicly compared to the likes of Mild High Club, Beck, and George Harrison, the group is pioneering psychedelia through a lo-fi lens. Dad Bod has propelled themselves to the forefront of their city and genre – and are certainly an emerging artist to watch.
With support for local prog rockers Elleanor Burke.
