Night Beats! If you haven’t heard of them, we’re not exactly sure where you’ve been, but we know you’ve been missing out! With them are local heavy hitters, Rigorous Proof and S|A|M Collective.
Imagine yourself simultaneously wandering through smoke of a burning building while surrounded by psychedelic colors and feeling as though your in some kind of crazy trance. This is what Night Beats sounds like. Gritty, dark, drifting, and hitting heavy. On their most recent album, Who Sold My Generation?, these Burger Records poster boys play psychedelic blues rock that sends you right back to the raw sounds of the 60’s. Pulling from reverb drenched sounds of garage rock bands just as much as the fuzzed out stadium sounds of Woodstock, these guys will knock you off your feet.
Along with them are locals Rigorous Proof; playing grooving indie-psych rock, drawing from the sounds of Wilco all the way to Pink Floyd and S|A|M Collective (FKA Something About Machines), playing their own wild Classic Rock influenced indie-prog.
