Never Young are back!
Based out of Oakland, Never Young take pop songwriting and cram it through their wide lens of noise punk, taking aspects from Shoegaze, Post-Punk, Grunge, Post-Hardcore, and turning it into something unique. Through the jagged guitar lines, walls of feedback and shouted vocals, Never Young’s songs are each undeniably catchy and anthemic. They’re signed to Father Daughter Records, and stopping by on an off day from their tour with Chastity Belt. Don’t miss em! Joining em is Reno’s heartfelt punk sweetheart Surly. The solo endeavor of Erin Miller, Surly takes pop songwriting and takes it through a rollercoaster of heartbreak, longing, peaking in the most intense moments of each song and receding back into the quietest places imaginable. To top it off, Common Mishap are joining Never Young for the second time, bringing their loud and thoughtful take on emo punk, making for the perfect addition to this bill.
