MVTANT, Lav Andula, Spellbinder

Hailing from Austin TX, MVTANT is a southern gore industrial project with a sound that is both familiar and new, cacophonous and melodic, uncomfortable and pleasurable. Their live shows in the flesh can be described as being akin to the violent colors that a dingy VCR head has been known to spew in scanlines across a tube tv; painful to stare at but astonishingly vivid and captivating. In addition to the classic post-punk, industrial, and EBM artists, MVTANT is heavily influenced by horror and science fiction films, anime, literature, and graphic novels.
