Mrs. Magician are San Diego surf punks. They just released a new album called Phantom, and it rules! They mix the sounds of modern west-coast surf and garage rock in with Brian Wilson esc vocals, they kinda sound like if Beach Boys and Together Pangea had a baby, which is TIGHT. On the local front, Applied Ethics mix post-rock and reverbed out surf/bedroom pop into a high-energy mix, pulling inspiration from everyone from King Krule to American Football. To top it off, Snack are our #1 newest bratty surf punk duo. These high school gals have been killing it lately, and you don’t wanna miss em!
