Intro to Modular Synthesis

Come make some noise with us! In this workshop, participants will get a crash course introduction to modular synth patching. Our instructor, Brandon Nguyen will cover all the basic concepts like voltage control, voltage controlled oscillators, LFOs, ADSRs, VCAs, etc. Participants will learn what all these things are and how they all work together to make a simple sequence. Everyone will get hands on experience using a nifty modular synth simulator called VCVRack.

All experience levels welcome and participants will need to bring a personal laptop to work with. Holland has a few laptops available upon request for those who need one (First come first served basis. Inquire before registering by emailing alisha@hollandreno.org).

Registration is $15 and space is limited.
