Miserable returns. Miserable is the ethereal solo endeavor of Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Kristina Esfandiari. Her work with Miserable dives into a shoegazier vein, touching on the atmospheric and unnerving influence of artists like Grouper, but with all the ferocity and heartbreak you would expect from the singer/songwriter of King Woman. Joining on tour, Australia’s Death Bells make their own brand of searing post-punk and shimmering dream pop. Their songs are a study in contrast, effortlessly combining dark intrigue with unabashedly massive hooks + Oakland’s finest Fearing are a dark post-punk band comprised of pure individuals all with one major common factor: a high school and early 20s life of touring in hardcore punk bands. To top it off, locals Skew Ring are bringing their fiery new-wave and shoegaze tinged hybrid of post-punk and post-hardcore, making for something emotionally moving and incredibly heavy
