I can’t tell you how PSYCHED we are that Mannequin Pussy is coming to Holland Project. Mannequin Pussy has a sound that floats anywhere from soft and catchy bedroomy Pop-Punk in the realm of All Dogs or Adult Mom, into a fuzzy and WAY heavy post-hardcore barrage, or even both at the same time. They just dropped their new album Romantic, and believe you me, catch them here before they blow up. To top it off, we have the brand new Pink Awful opening up the night with catchy and pop-oriented alt tunes, like a fuzzier Yeah Yeah Yeahs with some Sonic Youth mixed in
Does a perfect bill exist? We don’t know, but this is probably pretty close.
