King Woman, Alphabet Cult, Svartedauden, Rick Springsteen

January 23, 2016 @ 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

We have in incredible show for you guys! Saturday, January 23rd, we have San Francisco native King Woman, along with Reno’s own Svartedauden, Alphabet Cult, and Rick Springsteen!

King Woman, the brainchild of Kristina Esfandiari, plays her own brand of Dark-Folk and Doom, just as heavy as it is haunting (not dissimilar to artists like Chelsea Wolfe). On her latest EP, Doubt, Esfandiari her low and dreamy vocals over walls of fuzzed out guitars, and slow, brooding percussion to push the boundaries of emotional expression within the genre of doom metal. Svartedauden plays dark dungeon synth, touching a nerve that is both beautiful, theatrical, and gloomy. Alphabet Cult play loud noise punk that delves into the bounds of stoner rock. Rick Springsteen in the new drum-machine based project from the members of Ghost Friends Ltd.!

This show is going to Dark, this show is going to be spooky, and it’s going to be great. 8pm / $5
