In Contempt – Opening Reception

In Contempt features works by Maya Claiborne and Brooke Warn.  Their works walk a line between discomfort and pleasure.  Both artist deal with the inherent contradictions and symbiosis of light and shadow and study the effect of color on the psyche. Their exhibit creates an ominous feeling in the viewer and is both pure and haunting.

In Contempt will be up in the Holland Project Micro Gallery at Bibo Coffee Co. on 945 Record Street from September 11 – October 6.  The opening reception will be held on September 15 from 6pm – 8pm.
