Please join us at Cafe Capello on Sunday June 25th 3-5 p.m. for the artist reception of I feel a part of it. The show will be up at our Satellite gallery from May 23rd – July 21st.
Tara Tran likes to take photos, paint, draw, pluck stringed instruments, cook meals for their loved ones, walk around outside and learn new things. Raised in Vegas and residing in Reno, they have been shaped by the mountains, the valleys, and the people who live within them.
Tara studied Painting and Anthropology at UNR and is inspired by art and music’s ability to communicate emotion and thoughts they are unable to fully describe. In their visual art, they often use human and natural forms to depict the attempt to soothe an intimate and universal state of underlying fear and discomfort.
