Hollow Home Opening Reception

We are so very excited to have our long time friend and all around amazing artist, Michelle Laxalt, come back home to Reno for an extra special exhibition in the Holland Project Gallery titled Hollow Home. Fresh out of grad school at Georgia State University, Michelle’s newest body of work combines materials such as clay, fabric and hair to create abstract sculptural and textile pieces that are serve as reminders of the human body and pay homage to all its glorious complexity, strength and vulnerable fragility.
Hollow Home will be on exhibit May 9th – 26th with an opening reception on Thursday, May 11th from 6-8pm.
