Zig Zags, Happyness, Corner/Store

This lineup is making our heads spin.  We’ve got Happyness, Zig Zags, and Corner/Store on August 5!  Happyness is the breezy and layered South London, indie rock group known for their witty and sometimes absurd lyrics.  They’re akin to the Eels, Broken Social Scene, and Cloud Cult.  Zig Zags are LA dudes that a party punk/metal hybrid for indie kids.  Their resumé boasts a track with Iggy Pop on vocals (before ever recording an album,) and a 7″ produced by Ty Segall.  Locals Corner/Store are joining the bill and they’ll be bringing their punk rock and roll, made fast and sloppy, just as it should be.  This night oozes rock and roll.  Wednesday, August 5 8PM $5 adv/$7 at the door.
