Flag Workshop, Part 1

November 18, 2017 @ 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Free

Join us for an in-depth look at FLAGS. We’ll chat history, social and cultural context, and cool facts about flags and flag design (flags that work, flags that don’t, and what makes a great flag) with Vexillologist James Ferrigan and artist Megan Berner. Then we’ll explore cognitive cues, symbology, iconography, color theory and design with artist/designer Peter Laxalt. We’ll play with shape, color, symbology to prototype our own flags. This is a free workshop, but you gotta RSVP below or to workshops@hollandreno.org!

Also, peep this vid and get STOKED!
