Darkroom Printing 101

Learn the basics of black and white darkroom printing with John L’Etoile. In this workshop participants will learn how to operate an enlarger to create a properly exposed print from black and white negatives. Bring your own B&W negatives to print from or use negatives from our vintage collection at Holland. We’ll provide the photo paper and all the chemistry for developing, and everyone will leave with at least one good print by the end of the workshop.
This workshop is taking place as part of our Community Darkroom series and includes a free drop-in to come back and use the darkroom during open lab hours through September 2023. For information on lab hours and additional workshops, please visit hollandreno.org/darkroom
