Blitzen Trapper

On September 21st we got a big one with Blitzen Trapper and Cassorla. Portland’s Blitzen Trapper has been around a good amount of time now and they’ve done their fair share of exploration. Being vetted by Sub Pop records, they’ve seemed to always keep it in the Americana, Indie rock, and Alt-country pocket though. Spin Magazine says “This Portland, Oregon quintet has long excelled at energizing rootsy sounds with trashy noise, but Earley’s true trump card is smart, vivid songwriting that transcends genres”. Touring with them is Cassorla from LA! Cassorla plays stripped down lofi indie rock! Maybe if Pavement home recorded on 8-tracks and meandered into 2000’s indie rock. This is going to be awesome, so don’t sleep on it! Sunday, September 21st at 8PM $10 advance/$12 door.
