Learn how to develop your black and white film with sagebrush! In this experimental workshop led by experienced photographer Sonny Rosenberg, participants will learn how to cook up their own batch of homemade Artemisianol (a.k.a. sagebrush developer. Learn more about Sonny’s process HERE) then we’ll take some time to shoot a short roll of film and process it with our freshly made Artemisianol. We’ll provide the film and all the supplies needed. Participants are welcome to bring their own camera or borrow one from us. This is an excellent workshop for beginners and darkroom pros who want to learn something new!

This workshop is taking place as part of our Community Darkroom series and includes a free drop-in to come back and use the darkroom during open lab hours through September 2023. For information on lab hours and additional workshops, please visit hollandreno.org/darkroom

Contact alisha@hollandreno.org for questions.

Unfortunately, we are unable to give refunds for workshop registration unless the workshop is canceled, instructors can’t make it, or in the event of an emergency situation. We thank you for your understanding!
