Sunday October 12th we have a killer show with Apache Dropout, Ghost Friends, and Something About Machines! Apache Dropout is a trio of guys who just love to play old school rock ‘n roll. They have a laid back feel like the Velvet Underground, but with some trashy garage for much needed life. Pitchfork had this to say about their most recent release: ” I’m not thinking this is great garage rock-I’m just thinking its great music, and that jives with Apache Dropout’s smart take on the past”. Ghost Friends are a fearsome two piece playing emo influenced garage rock. High schoolers Something About Machines play a gambit of rock from the past, with classic rock coming in the forefront.
