“And Beyond” Closing
March 19, 2021 @ 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Work in Progress or WIP (formerly known as Teen Open Studio) is an annual, 5-month program introducing advanced art techniques to local high school students through a series of workshops and studio sessions led by practicing artists. Through WIP, students will conceptualize and create original artwork utilizing skills learned during the weekly workshops and curate a group exhibition of their work, which will be displayed in the Holland Project Gallery.
Using the theme “future”, teens participating in Holland Project’s Work in Progress (or WIP) program have curated And Beyond. This group exhibition of analog photography, watercolor paintings, zines, and punch needle embroidery showcases works all created using the skills WIP students learned in workshops taught by local and visiting artists over the course of a semester. The exhibition will be on view through March 19th and includes artworks by all 20 participating WIP artists.
