8th Annual Stranger Show

We’re gearing up for one of our very favorite exhibits of the year, the 8th Annual Stranger Show!! In collaboration with Hug High School and the Nevada Museum of Art, the Stranger Show pairs art students from Hug with practicing artists from our local community to create collaborative art pieces. This year 15 students were paired with 15 artist mentors and they had 5 weeks to conceptualize and execute their art pieces. The final works compete for Jury Awards and an Audience Award and winning artists will be announced at Holland during the Opening Reception on Wednesday, October 18th from 6-8pm.
Come check out all the amazing work, vote for your favorite piece, and nosh some yummy treats during provided by the Hug Culinary Arts Class! The Stranger Show will be on exhibit in the Holland Project Gallery from through Oct. 27th and gallery hours are Tue.-Fri. 3-6pm or by appointment.
