’68, Listener, Skinwalkers, Empty Beds
April 29, 2016 @ 7:30 PM - 11:00 PM • $8.50
This is a loaded bill if we’ve ever seen one. 68′ and Listener are touring together, and on 4/29 they’ll be stopping by Holland Project with Skinwalkers and Empty Beds. We couldn’t be more excited.
’68 is the new noisy post-hardcore project from Josh Scogin (vocalist of The Chariot and Norma Jean) and drummer Michael McClellan. Playing heavily blues influenced post-hardcore, there are no holds barred in their wild approach to the genre. Listener makes emo music heavily influenced by southern rock, spoken word, and post-hardcore. They began originally as the hip-hop project of vocalist Dan Smith, were one of the first heavy hitters in the emo/spoken word genre, and have been at it since 2003.
If that wasn’t enough, they’ll be joined by local reverb-drenched emo crooners, Skinwalkers, and our favorite post-hardcore young’ns, Empty Beds. This is going to be one for the books! Get your tickets ahead of time, and don’t miss out!
