After four long years, it’s back! A bit of a misnomer – as we always enlist five teams – 4x4x48 gives 4 local directors and 4 local bands just 48 hours to make a music video from start to finish. Directors and bands are randomly paired, and songs are kept a secret until the challenge begins. Directors are also given 5 requirements that ALL must appear in their video. Those elements are chosen by the previous year’s directors and are also kept a secret until the clock starts ticking. Filmmakers were able to interpret each element as creatively as they wish as long as each element was represented. Enjoy the results!

ALL five of the elements below were required to appear in each video and can be interpreted within the filmmaking style, the imagery, or conceptually. How these elements are incorporated is up to the directors and some are easier to find than others…
- Portal
- Blink
- Homage to Reno
- Visual representation of another local band’s name (not the one you’re working with)
- Footwear that’s inappropriate for the situation it’s in
