Building the Future on Vesta Street

Holland Project is excited to launch the 1-3-6 Capital Campaign to raise $600,000 to purchase the building at 136 Vesta Street (immediately adjacent to the current Holland Project space) to build the collaborative Holland Project Campus. Join us in shaping a defining moment in Reno’s cultural evolution — a bold expansion rooted in trust and collaboration. Together, we’re building a dynamic cultural campus that amplifies Holland’s impact and welcomes vital community partners: KWNK 97.7FM, Reno’s only low-power community radio station; Laika Press, a hub for community printmaking; the Mini Darkroom, a public photography studio; and a storefront space empowering emerging artists and entrepreneurs.

WHY THIS MATTERS
The Holland Project is, and has always been, more than a venue — it’s the starting place for artists, musicians, and cultural leaders. It’s where creativity is sparked, voices are discovered, and lifelong paths are formed. From the beginning, Holland has been Reno’s epicenter of youth-driven culture, known for being scrappy, smart, resourceful, and deeply community-centered.
Our neighbors — KWNK Community Radio, Laika Press Printmaking, and the Mini Darkroom — are kindred in mission and impact. These groups reflect Holland’s ethos: accessibility, experimentation, community-building, and equity in the arts. Bringing them under one expanded roof is not only logical — it’s visionary and strategic.
This moment is about continuity as much as it is about change. Holland isn’t reinventing itself — we’re reaffirming who we are by scaling what works and investing in the future. We’re carrying forward an 18+ year legacy that has been built hand-in-hand with this community, by youth and for youth, by artists and for artists, from the ground up.
136 Vesta will stand as a testament to what’s possible when we recognize culture as infrastructure — and when we elevate youth, creativity, and community-building as essential pillars, not afterthoughts.

Please consider being a MAJOR SUPPORTER and FOUNDING PARTNER of the 1-3-6 Capital Campaign and Campus Project with a matched donation of $50,000 – 100,000.
We are asking for your support in making this vision a reality. By helping us raise $600,000, you are not just funding a building — you’re cementing a legacy and putting your name behind the kind of cultural infrastructure Reno desperately needs. Whether through a major contribution, a foundational gift, or helping us connect to others who believe in youth, art, and long-term cultural growth, your role is vital.
Let’s build something that outlasts us. Let’s build the next era of Holland. Let’s prove that art doesn’t just start here — it belongs here.
